Liquid Penetrant

Liquid Penetrate Inspections (LPI) also known as dye penetrant & inspections (DP) penetrant testing (PT), is a cost-effective method used to detect surface-breaking defects in various non-porous materials.

Visible & Fluorescent Dye Testing: Detect fine surface defects with high accuracy.

As time went by, family priorities took precedence over lucrative travel positions, so I decided to refocus my efforts on something closer to home. This year, 2025, I founded Northwoods NDT to offer affordable, reliable, and top-tier NDT inspection services to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Wisconsin.
